Move-out Checklist

Notice of Intent to Vacate

Planning to move out of your rental at the end of your lease? Please notify our team of your intent to vacate the premises. Refer to the terms outlined in your lease to learn more.

Property Condition

Your rental needs to be returned to rent-ready condition before you hand in the keys. This involves taking care of the following:

Rental Cleaning: Carefully clean your rental home and remove all of your belongings from the premises. Please pay special attention in the bathrooms and kitchen, where you'll need to sanitize all hard surfaces. You'll also need to vacuum/mop/sweep all floors in the rental property.

Landscaping & Outdoor Areas: If you regularly address landscaping chores for your rental home, including mowing the grass, please take care of these responsibilities once more immediately before moving out.

Repairs: If any damage has occurred during your stay, take the necessary steps to repair such damage. This includes patching nail and screw holes, replacing broken glass, and repainting discolored walls.

Security Deposit

Your security deposit protects against any damage that isn't repaired before your departure. If you owe a balance on your account, the funds from the deposit may also be used to cover this amount. The remainder will be returned to you.

Please note, you cannot use the security deposit to cover your last month's rent. Failure to pay your final rent bill may result in adverse credit reporting and legal action.
